Independent Help
This page, like every other page of this site, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations:
- BeGambleAware
- Gamble Aware
- Gambling Therapy
- G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here
- GAM STOP
- NCPG
These are the only non-commercial outbound links on the site. Unlike operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when you follow them.
Age Restriction
Gambling content here is for adults only.
- The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout the site, including on the front page.
Practical Habits
Gambling stays manageable when the decisions are made before play starts.
- Set the amount first. A limit chosen in a calm moment holds up better than one chosen mid-session.
- Treat it as spent. If the money is gone the moment you set it aside, a loss doesn't feel like a debt you need to recover.
- Never chase a loss. Past results don't change the odds of the next bet. Chasing only makes the hole bigger, faster.
- Keep borrowed money out. Credit and loans add repayments to every loss and remove any natural stopping point.
- Take breaks. Stepping away interrupts the momentum that makes it easy to lose track of time and money.
- Involve someone early. When gambling stops being entertainment, a trusted person or one of the organisations above can help before problems grow.
Site Limits
This site cannot help you stop gambling in a direct, technical way.
- This site has no account, no form and no server-side application. Nothing here can switch on, check or enforce spending caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion. You arrange those controls yourself inside your account at the gambling destination.
- No gambling takes place on this site, and no one's age is verified here. Any age check happens at the destination.
- These pages contain no advertising or behavioural profiling network. Nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.
